Excellent book! Often considered the go-to authority on sexual polarity and masculine-feminine dynamics (it's easy to see why!).
Deida has done and incredible job addressing the touchy subject of masculinity and femininity in relationships, woven it together with a little spirituality, and still managed to keep it inclusive, respectful, and compassionate.
Although some of the examples may be less than relatable and some of the language may be a bit esoteric, it is still one of the best books I've ever read on the subject of relationships. I view myself and my intimate relationship in a whole new way. This is one to read and re-read!

This is a well thought out book and covered all the points simply to be able to understand the dance of love and practice unconditional love. Thoroughly enjoyed the book thank you!

While reading this book, I felt the portrayal of masculinity and femininity was too simplistic. The author seems to link masculinity strictly with strength and femininity with weakness, which doesn’t really reflect the complexity of human psychology. It’s also worth noting that the writer doesn’t appear to have a psychology background, which might explain why some of these ideas feel a bit ungrounded.

Very dated way of looking at genders
