The narrator made the book unbearable. No doubt this is a good story, but the narration was just jarring.

The only complaint I have is the narrator’s lack of voice variation. 80% of the voices sound derivative of a pissed off Dalek….

Excellent, in depth Sci-Fi

I found the narration hard to hear as the narration trails off quietly at times. I also admit i was VERY much hoping to hear Charles Keating do this one also.
I was also expecting more story of the non-breathers hitting the alien home planets which there was little of.
I hope the series continues...just wasn’t as thrilled from this work as I was the first.
