Publisher's Summary

When the fae invaded England with their armies and their magic, everyone felt like the world had changed overnight. It hadn’t. Especially if you were an Ironwood.

While humans lost their knowledge of magic and monsters, the Ironwoods have been fighting against evil for centuries.

While gods, fae, and magicians turned into tall tales and ghost stories, the Ironwoods became the stuff of legends themselves.

Now, with Morrigan’s Generals free again in the world, the Ironwoods are going to need all their training—and their new fae brothers—to stop them.

This box set collects all four stories of the Ironwood women as they get into plenty of trouble, slay their enemies, and find true love.

Please note: Ironwood contains adult content, including violence, swearing, and steamy sex scenes.

Love this whole series!

I loved how the story builds with every book! The characters are dynamic and the sex is steamy!

Narrator very strong, writing is pretty good

Loved the narrator’s voices, enjoyed most of the stories. I appreciated the exploration of each woman’s psychological makeup and matching it to the way they express themselves sexually. The different sex scenes were well done. There were a few elements of each couple’s sexual behaviours that were repetitively used by the author in all four couples. A couple of the plot twists were too lazy to be a five star. Despite these criticisms, I enjoyed all four books.

Good book, some volume issues

Good book, but there are some volume issues with the audio book. Some parts go in and out.

Good except book 3

I liked this series. I didn’t read the first series “ wrath of the Fae” which seems to be a pre-requisite to this book, but it’s not a requirement toto enjoy the stories in the series.

I enjoyed the first book, the lead female was a little bit ridiculous at first but I warmed up to it. I found the book to have more sex than anything else, but still enjoyable.
Book 2, Imogen and the God of Death’s story book was my favourite of the four. Imogene was bada** and the banter between the two was entertaining. Best book out of the four.

Book 3, was disappointing from the start, I thought Layla was pretentious even though the author seemed to be portraying her as unassuming or even self-sacrificing. I was so turned off by the book, I skipped most of it and went to book 4.

Book 4 was good, my second favourite in this series. I thought more should have been explained about Thor’s powers as those seemed to be glossed over during the last battle. That battle was also very lack lustre.

All in all as a complete series it’s worth a credit but as individual books they’re very short, and to me, book three is for the trash.

great collection of stories and a great narrator

I really appreciate having the 4 books together to listen to, as I don't generally like shorter books. I like the continuation of the over arching story line from the perspective of a new man and woman every book. I think the author does an excellent job of combining fantasy, romance, comedy and battle.

Fun to listen to the next series

I liked this series, it was amazing. Both should be listened to one after the other. The girls are strong and the one series leads into the next. I was worried about the narration done by one person having come from the other series that was dual but Dryw is fantastic. I was not disappointed.

They are okay some are better then others

So I was completely confused when I started this series because it says book 1-4 but obviously there were book before this, because when the first book started your just thrown into this world with this characters who have backstories I knew nothing about but it was talk about a little.

Like the one Hunter sister being mated to a far prince, and a big bad god they defended but her 3 generals were released.

Each one of these books were about another sister or their cousin finding their mates.

Some of the stories were better then others, the spice is pretty good but the stories get a little boring
