"Sylvia Frumkin" was born in 1948 and began showing signs of schizophrenia in her teens. She spent the next seventeen years in and out of mental institutions. well worth the read

I found the odyssey of Silvia both fascinating and disconcerting. How does a person with severe mental illness sustain her/himself; how can and does a society & family cope. There are no easy answers.
