Up till now, people recovering from other problems were able to get real help - like AA and rehab - while those struggling in the aftermath of traumatic breaks dealt with platitudes and friends insisting they should "get over it already". But now Exaholics Anonymous treats getting over an ex like kicking a chemical habit.

Tylenol for the heart.
This book has been my companion for the past 2 weeks, since my husband left a note on the table. I keep going back and listening again and again. The humour helps & the concepts are solid. I have been feeling better and better. Last time my husband dumped me I begged him back. This time there is no way. I have my dignity back thanks to this book and my breakup buddy. I know I am going to be better off without grumpy living here thanks to Greg and Amira's stories and advice. This book is a panache for the broken heart.

Great book for healing from a breakup
I recently dumped my boyfriend who stopped showing interest in me, yet I kept checking on him as it hurt me so much that it was easy on him. This book helped me very much to stop thinking about him or trying to contact him all the time. I'm looking at the breakup from a different perspective and I'm glad I made the right decision of getting out of a bad relationship.

Good for a light-hearted look at a break-up
Had some good advice and I loved the true stories from others who had been downthis road but overall vibe was pretty cheesy.

Dated but still relevant
a little dated but most of it is still super relevant, though it is a little annoying how hetero-normative it is (again it's just dated)

More than I expected
I was looking for a great break up book as I just recently broke up with my ex. I was crushed and kept replaying our old memories over and over. Missed him like crazy and didn’t know what to do. I’m still healing and it will take time but this book made me realize that it’s a break up because it’s broken. It brought humor and great insights. I finished the whole book in a day and will be relistening when needed. It encouraged me to redesign my whole house and go through every single corner and organize. I would 110% recommend this book for anyone feeling heart ache. It won’t heal it but it will definitely get you inspired to keep moving forwards. Thank you.
