About this listen
It all ends here.
Every decision, battle, triumph, and heartache has led the galaxy to this moment.
The Republic is spun wildly into sudden war as Gomarii slavers, in overwhelming numbers, strike on behalf of their Savage allies. The battle is fiercest on a newly rediscovered world: Earth.
But galactic war is only the symptom of an older, deeper, and far more dangerous conflict. Now, Keel and Ravi must work frantically to assemble the warriors needed to withstand an ancient threat, and Prisma must wrestle to control her own inner darkness. While on the front lines, Death’s grim specter comes for Chhun and Victory Company.
For once again, a Legion stands steadfast before the void.
KTF Part Two marks the end of Galaxy’s Edge: Season Two, and of the expansive story arc that began long ago with Legionnaire. Listen with caution, for here is where the characters you have come to know and love will meet their ultimate fates.

They were the Savages. Raiders from our distant past. Elites who left Earth to create tailor-made utopias aboard the massive lighthuggers that crawled through the darkness between the stars. But the people they left behind on a dying planet didn't perish in the dystopian nightmare the Savages had themselves created: they thrived, discovering faster-than-light technology and using it to colonize the galaxy ahead of the Savages, forming fantastic new civilizations that surpassed the wildest dreams of Old Earth.

Great End to an Excellent Adventure
This was an amazing end to the series. It had me guessing the entire time how the tale would end and exceeded everything I expected.

Satisfying conclusion
I loved this book as I loved the series entirely.
However, I love the Savages. I love to despise the Savages. An enemy evil and horrible enough to justify the Legion and the Republic to stop them.
except here, the masters of the Savages aren't so awful. They are merely elites. Detestable but no worse than the Republic itself. So that was disappointing as the whole series leads up to them, and they are just some blue bloods in a cool ship.
Back in the Savage Wars books, they were truly awful. You could understand why they were called savages. You could understand why these tortured beings were so into their own despicability. They live in a dream world and care nothing for people in reality where they are nothing but ghoulish insectile monsters or worse.
That didn't come through with Roman and his arch Savages. Anyone who didn't read Savage Wars might say, "So why are they called 'Saveges'?"

Ending felt rushed
Felt like the authors were struggling on how to tie it all together. I got a general feeling like they had more books planned but just ran out of steam and looking to move on with other projects. A core few characters were given flushed out, well thought out ending were other just seemed to be forgotten ignored or given one line last minute comments. Over all I liked the season, well worth the read and it’s not the worst ending I’ve read but it just seemed like it ended 3/4 through. Other may disagree would definitely recommend reading for your self and deciding.

What a wild ride!
As always RC Bray does an outstanding job with the narration!
This concludes season 2 of galaxy's edge and much like the conclusion of season 1 it ends with a bang! The story answers a lot of questions and certainly left me wanting more from the series and expanded universe.
The one downside I had with the story is it felt like certain parts were rushed. It did feel like the authors left the doors open to say more but were just closing it out to make everything fir into the book. If not for this one issue it would be an easy five.
This series has overtime become my favorite series and I hope we seem more from this universe!

Awesome again!
As always an awesome story. It could have easily been made into 2 books and made the story feel a little more filled out but a great listen

Underdeveloped
this was probably my second least favorite of the series. my least was the money grab part 1.
the book did not have many laughs and every story line felt rushed and very predictable.
these two books could have been a 3 part if they were written well but it seems like the authors just wanted to wrap up the series as quickly as they could.
this was not as bad as game of thrones season 8, but they were close.

Lack lustre - Didn't reach the bar set by S1
S2 wasn't as good as S1. But Ill give it another listen to see if I missed anything.
Cons:
Too many undeveloped characters, who had little to no effect on the story.
These extras weren't cool side stories that added to the richness of the universe. Instead they confused the plot and took time away from characters we love.
A whole book (book 3?) that added nothing to the story.
KTF 1&2 felt rushed, and disorganized.
Splitting the finale seems like a money grab.
I would have happily waited to get a better edit.
The whole Earth plot point had no point, yet the Chronos/Roman history was so well done.
Why the hell did we get an amulet of dark ones instead of an army of dark one infused savages?
Pros:
RC Bray
Kill Team Ice
Savages, their history and agendas
Tied together some elusive plot elements (quantum, dark ones)
Its over and I can listen to S1 again!
Some great humor
Wish they had focused on the top 8-12 characters, giving more time and development to their actions.
