Good background for Kenobi storyline between the clone wars and episode 4 but the start is dry laying the foundation for the characters

Jonathan Davis killing it again. Makes the rather slow story a bit more engaging. Not a bad story, just slow.

I found the initial chapters a bit lengthy and uneventful as they mostly introduce the setting and characters. The story does pick up eventually and is definitely interesting, although not of a significant importance in the overall Star Wars saga when compared to that of other books.

The narrator is very pleasant to listen to and the intonations and impersonations, combined with the sound effects, gave good rythm and substance to the story. The first chapter or two had a lot of dialogue between middle-aged men, which were initially a bit hard to differentiate but as I familiarized myself with the story I had no trouble recognizing the characters.
