Publisher's Summary

The final book in the Something in the Way series, and a USA Today best seller.

Manning and I have what happily ever after is made of....

A home he built us on the unshakable foundation we fought for.

A life of laughter carved out of heartache and betrayal.

A love story to stand the test of time.

But between a trust that can’t be broken, joy that can’t be bridled, and passion that would scorch the sun, the empty spaces are becoming more and more difficult to ignore....

Fears that keep Manning up at night as he slips from our bed.

Our complicated relationship with a man he respects, and one I don't know how to forgive.

And a sprawling, beautiful home with one small room I'm afraid I'll never be able to fill.

Manning and I have what happily ever after is made of....

But I'll beg the heavens for just one thing more.

A great way to end this 4 book series

By that Andi isn’t amazing, cause she is, I miss Zachary’s voice at Manning.
Not sure why Zachary did voice in this book.

Well the ending was exactly what should have happen.

This series was a 25 year trip.

Nice long story

Really enjoyed this series. Lake and Manning fought for each other when they needed to the most. Life is filled with obstacles and decisions, and finding their strengths was a wonderful story.

Wonderful

Lake + Manning by Jessica Hawkins is the book four of the series Something in the Way and like the four before, it was wonderful. This romance author really knows how to give amazing details and pulls you into the lives of her characters.

In Lake + Manning we are seeing a more mature relationship between the two and a love that was always meant to be flourish and grow. I loved how Manning finally feels like he is loved and wanted by a family and pushes Lake to seek reconciliation with her own family. It’s a tough road but one that needed to be travelled before they took another step towards a life together. Once they finally felt ready for a family of their own of course ya not as easy as they planned and the pair are confronted with new emotions to deal with. Overall I enjoyed this story of Lake and Manning from book one to four and even the supporting characters have a way of growing on you.

This was a very well written series and would recommend to anyone who loves a goo romance.

The narration was yet again superb and I could here the emotion come through. I would listen to anything Andi Arndt narrate just because it’s her.
