I really enjoyed the story but the narrator made it almost unbearable. Such a slow and stilted cadence and flat tone. it was like each character was speaking English as a second language and lacked any confidence and this was the same portrayal for each character. It was very confusing with the storyline and made all characters seem weak... which did not fit the story.

Terrible narrator

This was a good story with much sorrow and joy but the narrator did not portray this. No tone or emotion, flat and all the characters sounded the same. No intonation, stilted and constantly stopping to swallow our lick lips (sounded like). Made listening to almost unbearable so had to listen at a much faster speed than normal to get through it. Would like to listen to the remainder but not sure I can listen to this narrator again. But the story itself was good.
