I’ve never written a review on audible before but I just had to for this book. What I love about audiobooks is that the narrators always have a way of pulling me into the story. It’s always an amazing, immersive experience. I guess I’ve never listened to an audiobook with bad narration before and I didn’t realize how much of an impact that can have on the story.

I had nothing against the male narrator. He had a really deep, gravely voice that was perfect for the role. He had great tone and inflection. The female narrator though was about as entertaining as LISTENING to paint dry! She had absolutely no infection. Her way of making things sound exciting was to whisper. The smexy scenes with her were awkward AF. She kept whispering but also sounded like she was in a lot pain or on the verge of tears. The parts narrated by her were either painfully awkward or boring. I started listening to her parts on 1.6 speed, just to liven things up!

I actually wish I had read this instead because I think I would have enjoyed it more.

could not finish. was my first MC book, but the threatening to kill, and sell the person you care for is beyond my level of kink.
the female lead role was a struggle to listen too. her whisper voice was not for me.

Abuse from a crazy man. Girl has no rights, no mind of her own, and the story is not well balanced. Accepts that he takes other bitches but gets mad when sees feminin product in his house🤨 No!!!
