About this listen
Letting Go describes a simple and effective means by which to let go of the obstacles to enlightenment and become free of negativity. During the many decades of the author's clinical psychiatric practice, the primary aim was to seek the most effective ways to relieve human suffering in all of its many forms. The inner mechanism of surrender was found to be of great practical benefit and is described in this book.
Dr. Hawkins' previous books focused on advanced states of awareness and enlightenment. Over the years thousands of students had asked for a practical technique by which to remove the inner blocks to happiness, love, joy, success, health, and, ultimately, enlightenment. This audiobook provides a mechanism for letting go of those blocks.
The mechanism of surrender that Dr. Hawkins describes can be done in the midst of everyday life. This audiobook is equally useful for all dimensions of human life: physical health, creativity, financial success, emotional healing, vocational fulfillment, relationships, sexuality, and spiritual growth.
It is an invaluable resource for all professionals who work in the areas of mental health, psychology, medicine, self-help, addiction recovery, and spiritual development.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

McRaven addressed the graduating class of the University of Texas at Austin on their Commencement day. Taking inspiration from the university's slogan, "What starts here changes the world," he shared the ten principles he learned during Navy Seal training that helped him overcome challenges not only in his training and long Naval career, but also throughout his life; and he explained how anyone can use these basic lessons to change themselves - and the world - for the better.

This audiobook concludes the presentation of a long-predicted major advance in critical human knowledge. It explains the very essence of consciousness as it evolved from its primordial appearance as life on earth, on up through evolution as the human ego, and hence, the transcendence of the ego as the spiritual Reality of Enlightenment and the Presence of Divinity. The uncommon clarity and lucidity with which the highly evolved subject matter is presented facilitates the listener's understanding and comprehension.

Story
The relentless pursuit of high self-esteem has become a virtual religion - and a tyrannical one at that. Our ultracompetitive culture tells us we need to be constantly above average to feel good about ourselves, but there is always someone more attractive, successful, or intelligent than we are. And even when we do manage to grab hold of high self-esteem for a brief moment, we can't seem to keep it. Our sense of self-worth goes up and down like a ping-pong ball, rising and falling in lockstep with our latest success or failure.

Sales is a skill anyone can learn and master - and introverts are especially good at it once they learn how to leverage their natural strengths. Introverts aren't comfortable with traditional tactics like aggressively pushing a product or talking over a customer's objections. That's the beauty of The Introvert's Edge: it doesn't focus on the sale itself but on a sales system that helps introverts feel sincere instead of sales-y.

Publisher's Summary
What would life look like if you could reach the type of enlightenment that freed you from all negativity and suffering? In the life-changing Letting Go audiobook, Sir David R. Hawkins aims to teach listeners the most effective ways to let go and start living their best lives.

Aside from founding institutes and thought processes, including the Path of Devotional Nonduality, Dr. Hawkins was a trusted advisor to religious leaders of many faiths and is even credited with helping foreign governments and political leaders resolve long–standing conflicts that were major threats to world peace.
The Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender audiobook is narrated by Peter Lownds, Ph.D., who has also described other notable works from Dr. Hawkins, including Transcending the Levels of Consciousness: The Stairway to Enlightenment.

Insightful, Hopeful, and Inspiring
This book offers a deep insight into the human psyche and actual tools you can use to create a more meaningful life. It's hopeful partly because it's empowering, and the exercises and positive perspective on how to reframe external events are something just about anyone can integrate into their lives. Finally, it's creatively inspiring and has enhanced my awareness about emotional well-being and spirituality. I love playing this on my walks as it gives me a boost of optimism and I know I'll be listening to it many more times in the future.
