About this listen
This program is read by the authors and features audio-exclusive conversations between them at the end of each chapter. Liberated Love is the ultimate guide to building and maintaining sustainable relationships that feel safe, real, and involved.
We all desire great love. Yet, there seems to be a lot in the way when it comes to cultivating a relationship we crave.
Why is that?
It’s time for a new template—one rooted in choice, truth, safety, and respect. To get us there, Mark Groves and Kylie McBeath, champions of positive philosophy, provide us a roadmap, one they walked themselves, to step out of protection mode and into connection mode.
Groves and McBeath’s work—through their Create the Love seminars, workbooks, and consultation programs—have educated a new generation of relationship seekers on the best ways to practice and cultivate love. In Liberated Love, you’ll explore your original relationship blueprint and learn how it informs your current relationships (spoiler alert: it’s often a pretty direct line), and discover how limitation can be the key to finding freedom and experiencing full, fully-realized love with another person.
Equipped with real-life situations and stories, exercises, rituals, and tools that lead to productive self-examination, Groves and McBeath illuminate how to be aware of our most instinctual defenses, survival strategies, and coping mechanisms, how to have conversations about relationships without turning them into “relationship conversations,” and how to date in a way that protects your heart as you open it up to new possibilities.

It’s not always easy to tell when you’re dealing with a narcissist. One day they draw you in with their confidence and charisma, the next they gaslight you, wreck your self-confidence, and leave you wondering, What could I have done differently? As Dr. Ramani Durvasula reveals in It's Not You, the answer is: absolutely nothing. Just as a tiger can’t change its stripes, a narcissist won’t stop manipulating and invalidating you. To heal in the aftermath of their abuse and protect yourself from future harm, you first have to accept that you are not to blame.

Story
Women are angry, and it isn’t hard to figure out why. We are underpaid and overworked. Too sensitive or not sensitive enough. Too dowdy or too made-up. Too big or too thin. Sluts or prudes. We are harassed, told we are asking for it, and asked if it would kill us to smile. Yes, yes it would. Contrary to the rhetoric of popular “self-help” and an entire lifetime of being told otherwise, our rage is one of the most important resources we have, our sharpest tool against both personal and political oppression.

Can you have it all? I believe that smart, successful women can have both a great career and a rich, warm, fulfilling love life. See - smart women like yourself were having unfulfilling love lives on an epidemic scale when I was an advisor at Harvard. They either couldn't find the right guy, were with the wrong guy, had relationships that didn't last, or had given up on dating entirely. So I wrote this book to remedy the situation. This is not your grandma's dating guide.

Dissapointed....
I've been following Mark since the day where he was on Para scope doing lives. Love all his videos, stories and have taken all his courses. But this book was absolutely dissapointing. I would have much preferred a book alone, and not his wife. Too much enmeshment and Mark lost his voice on this one in my opinion. Was expecting a masterpiece, and got a piece of ____.
