Story
Lex Gracie doesn't want to think about her family. She doesn't want to think about growing up in her parents' House of Horrors. And she doesn't want to think about her identity as Girl A: the girl who escaped, the eldest sister who freed her older brother and four younger siblings. It's been easy enough to avoid her parents - her father never made it out of the House of Horrors he created, and her mother spent the rest of her life behind bars. But when her mother dies in prison and leaves Lex and her siblings the family home, she can't run from her past any longer.

Absolutely Thrilling
Another great book by Adele Parks. She never disappoint.
Great story and so many surprises. Loved them all.
The narrator was very good as Daisy and the other women characters. The voice used for Simon and Darryl especially was very annoying.
Darryl’s voice was very mean and condescending. I realize that was his character, but the voice was not appealing at all.
I love that it had a happy ending and all worked out. It was so very good to hear the Prologue.
Made a lot of sense.
I absolutely love this book and enjoyed every chapter. Could not put it down such a great listen. Thank you again.!!

Lies,Lies, Lies Disappointing
The story began with a lot of promise,. The characters were genuine and believable. The narration was great. The story sagged in places with mundane detail that didn't move the plot forward. The ending was just too unbelievable.

Cool concept but…
Started off really good and interesting. Then, the story just went dull and a bit boring at times. All of a sudden something interesting will happen, and then the story goes bland again. The narrators did a good job and kept me listening.
