This was an amazing listen, blew though it in a day and a half. It really puts things into perspective and gave me a new appreciation for the life I am privileged to lead. Hearing it in his own voice hits different. So proud of Damien, what an inspiration.

Finished it in 2days, I couldn't stop listening. His life story is as incredible as it is completely revolting and horrifiying. I was interested by the case and how life looks like in death row and was agreeably surprised by how well Damien describes it and the powerful sentences he created. I haven't heard many books like that but I'm sure it is a most for anyone who wants to learn about American prison and justice systems.
