About this listen

Nervous about the idea of living independently because you are afraid you don’t know what it means to be an adult?

Do you long for independence–striking out and living on your own–but you are worried that you are lacking important skills? Are you worried because you don’t understand all of the changes you are going through and how to navigate them? Do you worry that you will have to go back to living with your parents because the adult world is full of confusion? Everyone's a little nervous when they first leave the safety of their parent’s house. Think about it: You are in school for 13+ years learning the skills you need to be successful in the professional world, but you are expected to just know how to be an adult. For your entire life, you have had other people doing important tasks for you. Cooking meals, making appointments, buying necessary household items...the list goes on and on! Now is the time to prepare yourself by discovering exactly what you need to not end up back in your parents’ basement.

From healthy technology use to maintaining relationships to eating healthy on-the-go foods–this book covers all of the essential health skills crucial to adulting. In this definitive guide on health, you will discover:

Great information for young adults

This book has important information for teenagers and young adults. The information is clearly presented and very easy to follow. It teaches day to day activities and skills I feel most teenagers and young adults need to be successful. I wish this book was available when my kids were teenagers, and I will recommend it to my friends and family for their children.
