Starla Night
About this listen
Seduced by the Sea Lord: Warlord Torun cannot wait to claim Lucy, who mistook him for a shipwreck survivor and pulled his injured body from the ocean. He insists her destiny is to become a mermaid queen and mother to his children. The one thing "destiny" forgot to mention was that Lucy's a broke divorcee who can't even have a child.
Sacrificed by the Sea Lord: Mer-king Kadir has endured ridicule, banishment, and undersea prison for his belief that modern human women will save their race. Elyssa can't even match her socks. How can she rule an undersea kingdom?
Enslaved by the Sea Lord: Mer-warrior Soren is no catch. He prefers to protect the other warriors' brides rather than seek his own to repopulate. But he can't control his cravings for elegant Aya.
"Soren's Dark Night": An exclusive scene linking damaged warrior Soren to his betrayal of the warrior he most respected.
Stolen by the Sea Lord: Zara almost died the night she was forced to the surface. Suddenly, her mer-husband, Elan stands on the shore before her like a mirage. He even escaped with her son. And a deadly secret.
Contains mature themes.

Good world and character building in book 1-2
Gets repetitive after that and the ending of book 2 is frankly absurd. Who the hell would dive down in scuba to fight a submarine?!

Not to bad
I found this series right before I logged off and went on vacation for 2 weeks, this was a fun light listen, I was more interested in the first 3 books, I liked that they were connected and the charaters were familiar.
The last book seemed a bit disjointed. It didnt really fit in with the first three but it you could tell it was part of the series and the story line was related to the first three there just wasnt the same kind of connection.
Still a decent listen.
