About this listen

She's hiding a dark secret. It already killed her once.

Victoria can't wait to start college, but there's a hitch - she can't remember anything before arriving on campus. Her memories finally spark when she sees her ruggedly handsome math professor, but she senses something terrible happened. The shock on his face affirms her fears.

Toby is an alpha wolf who never thought he'd see his true love again - not after she died in his arms. Nothing could have prepared him for her walking into his class. But to his dismay, not only has she forgotten the past, she doesn't even know who she is.

He's determined to do whatever it takes to restore what they've lost. Can Toby help Victoria recover her memories, or will he lose her forever?

Interesting but there’s holes in the story hopefully it’s cleared up in book 2

When the male voice actor try’s to voice any female characters it’s so cringeworthy, I can hardly listen to it! I wish he would stick to just the male characters!
The story is interesting enough right now but there’s a few plot holes that I desperately hope is cleared up in the next book or it’s going to bug me.
The biggest being if he knew she died then what made him think to use a powerful witch for decades to try and look for her? Plus in the beginning he said the witch couldn’t find her and he was shocked to see her at school but later on he credits the witch for locating the area she was in… Which was it?

Besides for that I love the bar that neutral ground for so many cool magical creatures & I think it’s interesting that they have a would be alpha wolf married to a vampire.

I will definitely be reading the next book but I hope the writer explains things more.

A bit unfocused

The story idea was interesting enough to catch my eye, but the story and characters are a little too unfocused and inconsistent. There are also a good number of unfounded assumptions made by the characters, which seem to reflect the author's intent as opposed to any actual progress or story development.

When a character suddenly realizes that she has no memories, and in the next breath is drooling over a boy and deciding that shopping is more important than figuring out who she is, it is difficult to take any of the story seriously. I won't even get into the ridiculous number of assumptions made by the professor once he meets our lost wolf.

Give it a pass

It was not worth it, which is impressive considering it was free. The back and forth of readers was weird, the story was ridiculous. The story was weak and all over the place and generally weak. The book I read that led to this suggestion was light years ahead of
