Underage escorting?

I was uncomfortable with a high schooler being a paid escort and under age sex worker and it being, idk, romanticized that it was for the hospital bills of the girl he loves, and not really addressed. Also, the kid has a rich family but stubbornly wants to pay for her hospital bills himself instead of asking his family for help because he feels a sense of responsibility so he turns to selling himself? And even though the girl he loves is very sick, he’s taking the time to save up for her surgery through escorting rather than of getting the money for her right away from her well of family?
