Publisher's Summary

Julian

If I ever caught on fire, Dahlia Muñoz would fan the flames with a smile. So, when she returns to Lake Wisteria, I fully intend to avoid the interior designer. At least until my meddling mother exploits my savior complex.

The faster I help Dahlia find her creative spark, the sooner she will leave town. But while I was busy getting rid of Dahlia, I overlooked one potential issue. What happens if I want her to stay?

Dahlia

People say the devil has many faces, but I know only one. Julian Lopez—my childhood rival and family frenemy. I vow to steer clear of him while recovering from my broken engagement, but then the billionaire makes an irresistible offer. Renovate a historic house together and triple our profits.

Our temporary truce becomes compromised as we face years’ worth of denied attraction and mixed emotions. Giving into our desire is inevitable...but falling in love? That isn’t part of the plan.

Love Redesigned is a steamy small-town romance about two family friends-turned-childhood rivals. It is the first book in the stand-alone Lakefront Billionaires series and has a happy ending.

Amazing start to this new series!

“𝙷𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚎𝚜 𝚞𝚙 𝚊𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚗 - 𝚒𝚗 𝚎𝚚𝚞𝚊𝚕 𝚙𝚊𝚛𝚝𝚜 𝚙𝚊𝚒𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛."

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was everything I love about Lauren's writing. It was sweet, charming, lots of laughs, and just checked all the boxes!

Dahlia has returned home after her broken engagement, hoping to hide away and wallow, she was not expecting to come face to face with her enemy and the boy who broke her heart all those years ago. Secretly harbouring feelings for Dahlia for years, the last thing Julian wants to do is spend time with her, but when his mother strong arms him into helping her find her creative spark.

Honestly this book just made me happy. I loved the relationship between Dahlia and Julian, their hate to love banter was just top notch and had me giggling throughout. I couldn't put this one down as there were tidbits of their past released which just led to so many questions, and I needed answers! I loved Julian, he is one of my top favourites for Lauren's MCs, he was grumpy, sweet, swoony and oh so delicious! I also really enjoyed that cast of characters in this book, they brought such a warmth and sense of family, with a side of crazy. There was also some really great heartfelt moments throughout out the book, especially with Dahlia, which rounded out this book well.

I loved the duet narration for this one! Both narrators were fantastic, and Noah had me swooning with his voice and every time he spoke Spanish! Fantastic audio!

obsessed with the duet narration!!

love redesigned is the first book of the lakefront billionaire series. this book had me invested from the very start, i was flying through the pages. i had the best time reading and also listening to the audiobook, and boy do i recommend the audiobook!! it’s my first duet narration and i loved it, chef’s kiss 🤌🏼 the story had me giggling and kicking my feet, especially hearing the words from julian’s mouth come to life 🤭🤭

julian and dahlia grew up in a lakeside small town. they’re childhood rivals and were competitive in every aspect of their life. dahlia returns town and encounters julian nearly a decade after a fallout. they work on a project together to renovate a house, which means having to face their harbored feelings for each other, ones they’ve sworn to never reveal.

the childhood rivalry between julian and dahlia reminded me so much of rose and connor from the addicted series (if you love coballoway, you‘ll love this one)! the back and forth banter, always trying to one up each other with their quips and pranks were so much fun to read 👻🕷️🎄📱 iykyk. the chemistry and tension between them two were everything!! i also loved the family dynamic with both of their moms. to see the extent everyone helps and supports one another is so heartwarming 🥹

dahlia and julian go through so much healing and growth, it was beautiful to witness them opening up and be vulnerable with one another. dahlia is a force to be reckoned with and julian stole my heart! he shows up for dahlia time and time again and he is so attentive to her needs. their romance is so sweet and perfect. you can just feel their love throughout the book

i can’t wait for what’s next in this series! also can’t not mention how beautiful this purple cover is!! all the heart eyes 💜

tropes: small town romance, billionaire, childhood rivals, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, one bed

It was a good story

I genuinely think the story itself was good, I enjoyed the content of the book, just the performance was lacking. the male voice actor was great, the female one was so dry…there was no emotion most of the time.
