Too Dark
I've been reading and listening to Martina Cole for over a decade. Annie, as ever is a spectacular reader and actor. but this may be the last time I read a Martina Cole. If I could return this book I would. the common thread w Cole before is that there is some redemption or salvation. Here there is none and the explicit detail of the crimes against children were awful and made the dark outcome even worse. Like I said, I've been reading Cold for ages and have read or listened to all her books so I'm not hung up on the vulgarity. This one was just too much. I do not recommend.
