Painful to listen to
I purchase audiobooks for educational and leisure. As much as I appreciate the subject matter, and the narrator’s voice was pleasant, the book was narrated in what can only be described as a second grader reading in front of the class.
It would have been much more pleasing to listen to had he used some intonation. Like, ANY intonation. It was like listening to a 7 hour long run-on sentence, which made comprehension difficult.
As it stands, I thought he might’ve been trying to lull me to sleep before I could glean any knowledge on the subject of lucid dreaming.
