Publisher's Summary

A vivid trip through the mind of the top professional wrestler in the business—a nobody from nowhere who achieved his ambitions and walked away with the gold and the girl of his dreams.

Ride alongside Jon Moxley as he retraces some of the highways traveled on his remarkable journey. Revel in the never-before-told stories about his early life in Cincinnati, Ohio; the gritty independent wrestling scene where he cut his teeth; the complicated corporate landscape of the WWE where he bucked against authority; and the rebellious upstart AEW, where he won the championship in 2020 and was finally free to achieve the vision of the wrestler he'd always wanted to be.

With plenty of pitstops and revelatory insights, including grisly ultraviolent encounters, crazy characters who became lifelong friends, and his unforgettable matches in Japan, MOX is the riveting account of the life of a brawler. It is a tale written in blood and soaked in debauchery, with a good dose of wisdom accumulated along the way.

More than a backstage pass into the arena, MOX is a ticket into the ring. Once inside, you'll never look at pro wrestling the same again.

Instant Classic.

Loved it. A great look behind the curtain of pro wrestling and into the real world of professional wrestlers and the sacrifices they make for our entertainment. Highly recommended for wrestling fans.

Just...wow, amazingly captivating!

I'm not a big reader, so even though I found the book interesting, I struggled to get through it. I decided to gey the audio book and let me tell you it was the best decision! listening to MOX tell his story with his own words was an amazing experience. Highly recommend for any wrestling fan, or any fan of hearing someone's life story. Also, Claudio has some great jokes 😉

Incredible! 🤘

Moxley killed it. Hit it out of the park. His ability to tell a good story is something to behold.

An absolute banger.

Fantastic book. Moxley is an awesome storyteller in the ring and this book proves he is also one outside the ring. It doesn't follow your standard format, as he jumps around to various points in his life and career seemingly at random, but it all comes together towards the end. Amidst all this are bad jokes, opinions on films, music, marriage, and sandwiches. If you're a fan of wrestling and you've watched Moxley come up through WWE, AEW, or even back on the indies, this book is a must read.

A wonderful surprise

I'll admit when I first started listening to this book, I was immediately put off. This guy is younger than me and I was barely still crapping in my pants when he was born.

Joking (and complete seriousness) aside, I found this to be a humorous and insightful look into Jon Moxley's life. On more than one occasion I burst out laughing like a complete lunatic. It was made all the better, because it was Jon narrating. I really enjoyed him yelling the story at me.

It was a fantastic listen.

Moxtastic

I really enjoyed hearing John’s book narrated by himself, he adds that personalization that only he could add. Great Book.
