About this listen

A team of military special operators. A lost race of advanced beings. An invading swarm of land-hungry sentient robots.

An elite team of SAS special operators battle across the multiverse after a plague of land-hungry sentient robots invade today’s Earth. But, when an aircraft carrier-based counterattack goes horribly wrong, it traps the team in an alien universe with a top-secret group who’ve already saved the world twice. After discovering a dark plot that threatens humanity’s very existence, the two groups jump into action, fighting both on the surface and in orbit in a last-ditch effort to stop the enemy before time runs out.

With the fate of two Earths hanging in the balance, the combined teams must pull a lost race of advanced beings off history’s scrapheap, or humanity will join them in oblivion.

Magnitude combines sleek starships, strange aliens, and high-tech weaponry to pit heroes, zeroes, and a smart-assed battlebot against powerful enemies. Fans of Live Die Repeat, Expeditionary Force, the Bobiverse, and Dimension Space will love the thrilling action in this time-travel multiverse war epic.

Too many paradoxes

Spoilers- frustrating that they're okay with butterfly effect changes to the timeline but not killing enemies (last chapter) when by causality their past is defined by their current actions. They couldn't grandfather paradox,or they wouldn't be on the mission in the first place. Otherwise great work by author and Bray to knit an excellent tale. Gonna stick with this series.

Gripping and exciting,

Highly enjoyed this book, well written, excellent narration! The characters are good! Will be finishing this series for sure!
My only complaint, and this is not the only one narrated by RC Bray that I have this issue with,
Though I absolutely love Skippy The Magnificent(literally named my phone skippy) I now find him being brought up in many of RC bray’s books, and though I like the fun references it feels like the authors bring him in even though it’s not the same universe, or author as if they’re trying to ride the coat tails of the greatest asshole AI ever imagined, which to me makes the author loose originality points with plagiarism… unless of course, Craig Alanson, and Dean M. Cole are conspiring to join their universes together through the multiverse, in which case I will take that all back and be glad for it!

I didn't want it to end

Dean did a great job on this one. RC, how you did all those accents is beyond me but you did awesome. This book is nonstop action, you barely get a chance to catch your breath before boom, right back into the action. I can't wait for the next book. Don't pass this one up, it's worth the credit.

An excellent start to the next trilogy!

A nice jumping on point for new listeners (although I highly recommend starting with Solitude (Dimension Space Book 1) where the first begins.

Magnitude contains a wonderful blend of sci-fi, military action and humor. I really enjoyed the audiobook (RC Bray delivers another stellar performance). (Full disclosure - Dean named a character in this book after me, so I may be somewhat biased in my review…). But in all seriousness - a thoroughly enjoyable audiobook from start to finish. Felt like I was getting off a rollercoaster by the end - tons of action and twists and turns!!
