About this listen

This document contributes to the study of reconciliation of Indigenous – Settler community conflicts in Canada (aka Turtle Island) through an understanding of: how the Six Nations and residents of Caledonia have made, and continue to make, and counter-activists on the general populace–both members of the Six Nations and residents of Caledonia; the degree of healing that has taken place over time between the Six Nations and residents of Caledonia; a possible shared vision for the future that incorporates the interests and needs of all identity groups; and, the level of readiness within the community to consider a framework for a reconciliation process which could include a discussion around mandate and permission, processes, logistics and resources. As such, this study envisions a basis for possible transformation within the community for the mutual benefit of current and future generations.
