The second half was amazing
The first half of the book was a little dry around the tournament, but there were highlights that made up for it. The second half of the book was incredible and the final cliffhanger was masterful. Can't wait for the next one!

Loved it , but
Overall a fantastic book, the only thing that bothered me throughout the book is Alex never mentioned or used the sword he got from the traveller. It sure would have been useful. It bothered me the whole book.
That being said highly recommend the series, worth the credits.

Keep 'em Coming!
From book 1 to book 7, the flow, the character developments and the story progression in this series has been consistently great! The ending was a bit of a twist which was nice and unexpected. Now (unfortunately) I have to be 'patient' while I wait for book 8 to be available on audible. Can't wait for the next one!

Mostly filler
Okay, the bakery arc was entirely too long and totally unimportant. The ending of this book makes me think a high school kid is writing it without any input from anyone.
