Content is great but narration not so much.

Great content and story that follows the history of Mecca and the wider Muslim world from the pre-Islamic history to the present. My issue is that the narrator is not fantastic I'm sorry to say, his reading is clear but he vocally emphasizes words that don't need to be emphasized, takes breaks as though he has reached an end of a sentence when he has not, and does not wind words down as he reaches the end of a sentence making it seem like he's about to continue on but abruptly stops instead (which is most obvious in the last sentence of the book).
