Publisher's Summary

Edited by Dr. Michael Newton, the best-selling author of Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls, Memories of the Afterlife is a collection of fascinating true accounts from around the world, handpicked and presented by life-between-lives hypnotherapists certified by the Newton Institute.

After recalling memories of their afterlife, the people in these studies embarked on life-changing spiritual journeys - reuniting with soul mates and spirit guides, and discovering the ramifications of life and body choices, love relationships, and dreams by communing with their immortal souls. As gems of self-knowledge are revealed, dramatic epiphanies result, enabling these ordinary people to understand adversity in their lives, find emotional healing, realize their true purpose, and forever enrich their lives with new meaning.

Many questions, few answers

We all start out with many questions and few answers. Its nice to know that we will have a chance to benefit from our mistakes and make use of all we have learned in this lifetime. Otherwise, what would be the point?

I was curious about our ability to remember even events in this life, so I thought I'd try a little test by trying to remember the name of a childhood friend. I'm now over 80 years old and I last saw him in our early teens. At first it seemed I could only guess at his first inital and tried what I thought would be his first name, but without success. then the next day, without really trying, it came to me as his first and last name.

Facinated by how this happened, I thought I'd try seeing how much I rememered about my other friends of that time period. I was amazed at the result: full names, musical instrument played, home street names, sibling names, parent's occcupation, parent's vehicles make model and colour, their pets and pet's name, etc.
This was followed by remembering shared events and some of my thoughts at that time.

So how far back does this go? Well, apparently with the help of a regression hypnotist, much further than we realize. I'm just going to have to add a regression session to my bucket list.

I recommend reading this book and the narration seemed excellent. Enjoy!

Fascinating exploration

I've been studying life after death and NDEs for years, but this was the first book I've listened to that focused on the time between lives. I loved it!

A very enjoyable experience

i see that some readers complained about the female narrator but I do find her wonderful!! I enjoyed listening to both of the narrators. I adore this book and will always cherish it as one of my collections :)

A Mistake

I've read several of Michael Newton's other books and enjoyed some of the insights they provided. This book, however, is a complete mess. Allowing so many contributors was a mistake. The book is full of contradictions, and whatever trust I had in Newton's personal work simply does not exist for the new authors. The case studies are completely unverifiable, even though they are all supposedly recorded. There is no flow... no order... nothing really to take away from it, that the original books did not present much better. Overall it felt like a marketing tool for the Newton Institute and the various doctors who wanted their name published. I do not recommend it.

WhisperWhisperWhisper

Michael, I love the sound of your voice. I love your stories. Could you PLEASE be louder and stop mumbling and whispering?! It's driving me to insanity. I bought an audio book to listen to. What is the point if I Can't Hear You?! I've turned up the volume and I still can't hear your mumbling/whispers.

Love the Books, but had to Return

I'm an AVID fan of Michael Netwon and all his amazing books and studies. ....However, Xe Sands, the voice actor in this book is so poor in her performance, that I found myself constantly distracted by the cringe worthy readings.

There's also such a major contrast between the male and female's voice, maybe because Peter Berkot has done most of the other Audio books in the series it's easier to listen to him, but she is ...brutal.
