About this listen
Finally! There is a mental-toughness book for young athletes!
Hey Parents,
Troy Horne here. Your mental-toughness guide! If you are reading this, you probably have a young athlete who struggles with in-game confidence and maybe even sports-performance anxiety. I am here to help parents understand how to help your young athlete navigate this mental-toughness journey. I know where you are, and I know how to help you help your young athlete find their mental toughness. I have purchased a lot of books about mental toughness in sports.
To be honest, most of the books that we read were not a good fit for young athletes because they were either created for adults or not created for youth athletes in competitive sports. There is a difference.
Parents! Since there wasn't anything out there for elite athletes, I did what every youth-sports parent does when they want to help their kid.
I took the long journey of ups and downs. I struggled to help my young athlete find his mental toughness. It was rough! However, luckily along the way, we found the winning formula, thanks to being able to talk with sports icons personally. We launched a podcast together, and on it we interviewed mental-toughness giants of sports like Chauncey Billups, Tywanna Smith, Keiko Yoshimine, Earl Boykins, Jason Richardson, and Kobe Bryant!
I studied what they did and said based on our interviews, and I came up with a mental-toughness plan that worked! I followed their journey and their advice. I wrote down what worked for my young athlete, and I put it in this book so that you would be able to skip a lot of the struggle and failure parts. No need for everyone to struggle right?
In this book, I am going to share with you what I learned from talking to NBA athletes, NFL athletes, EuroLeague athletes, college coaches, and college athletes as well.
- Does your child perform better in practice than they do in the game or when the "lights come on"?
- Do they seem like they are losing their love for the game?
- Do you want to help them?
If you answered yes to these questions, then you are in the right place. This book provides the answer that you have been looking for! I can say this with confidence because I have used everything that I am going to share with you in this book with my son, and it has worked.
What a blessing to get the keys to mental toughness straight from greats! I look forward to sharing what we've learned with you!
This stuff is a game-changer, and it's made specifically for young athletes!
Order now to improve your young athlete's mental-toughness level for good!

Most of us still live by the motto, “No pain, no gain.” But this approach to life is actually a prescription for fear, frustration, and self-doubt. Much of what we learn about success is based on the pain/gain idea: in essence, work harder, be more persistent, and develop greater willpower. The New Psycho-Cybernetics formula is anything but painful. It will allow you to achieve all your goals, faster, easier, and with less strain than you ever thought possible.

Story
The definitive biography of a legendary athlete. The Shrug. The Shot. The Flu Game. When most people think of him, they think of his beautiful shots with the game on the line, his body totally in sync with the ball - hitting nothing but net. But for all his greatness, this scion of a complex family from North Carolina's Coastal Plain has a darker side: He's a ruthless competitor and a lover of high stakes. There's never been a biography that encompassed the dual nature of his character and looked so deeply at Jordan on and off the court - until now.

Excellent! Game Changer!
This is the first time I have ever actually left a review for a book, and I have read/listened to many. This one was AWESOME! Will 💯 be getting the version that's specifically for the athletes. This is not just a great book to help your kids become great athletes, the lessons applied are a game changer for their lives and possibly yours too... After all, kids do what we do, not just what we say, you have to practice what you preach. 😉 I really enjoyed everything about this book.. It wasn't filled with any waste of time filler crap, it's all practical, easy to follow and implement strategies you can put to practice immediately. The narrorator was fantastic, and really kept me engaged in the story the whole time. I would and already have, highly recommend this book to friends and family, I think I may even get a copy for my daughters' (both competitive gymnasts) coaches. Great book! I'm going to listen to it again!

A must read for any parent!
As a former professional athlete myself and the father of a gifted athlete, my wife and I are always looking for ways to help our daughter navigate through her journey in athletics. We are firm believers that implementing both the right training and mental approach at an early age will provide our daughter with the tools to achieve optimal success in all aspects of her life. As parents we are often told to just stay quiet and be there to support, in my view this couldn’t be any further than what is needed. Our kids desperately need to hear feedback and be challenged from individuals they trust, even if it’s hard to provide sometimes. Thank you, Troy and Moses as this book provides any parent with all the tools in which to play a key role in your child’s development. I encourage any parent to both read and implement these aids as quickly as possible and you will see what your child is truly capable of! As they say, surround yourself with great people and exceptional knowledge and this book offers both!!

Amazing for parents of young athletes!
it was absolutely fantastic. Completed listening to it in 4 days, pretty much studied it. Helped me tremendously with my son already. The joy and the smile on his face is worth it. And the amount of practice he puts in on his own now just from a few motivational segments in this book are 100% worth it!!!

These books really have helped my son!
My 11yo son loves this book and has listened to it about 5 times now because every time he listens to it he, "either learns something new, or is reminded of something he has forgotten." It has really helped him with his attitude and resilience with failure.
Only feedback is to please include the supplements with the audio book as I have gone to the referred website and entered in my email several times to get the 'free download' and it hasn't come yet!
