When Rome Pierce moved to Bear Bottom, Texas, it was his intention to lay low. To not be seen. To find a way to heal his body and soul - as well as his son's. Until one day he has to choose - the love of his life or the life he brought into this world.

Better then expected
I grabbed this book because 1 I love MC books and 2 it was free. I wasn’t expecting much but my god did it turn out better than expected.
This book was different than other MC books. There was more emotions and romance than violence. The author wrote it very well and the narrators did a fantastic job bringing this story to life.
Highly recommend

A very loving, deep story
I loved this story, it's unlike many of Lani Lynn Vales other stories, this story is sad, it's emotional, deeply beautiful though. It's a wonderful story of 2 strong characters falling in love.

A great story!

Good story. Writing is alright.
Female narrator is fine; male narrator is amazing! I hope the narrators get into a more comfortable flow with character changes as the lives of these MC members progressed. Lookin' forward to the rest of the series.

A heavy but real good read!
First off, holy smokes that narration. Spot on and great voices!!
Omg, K. Grab the tissues before you start because I needed them right off the hop.
Some freaking parents though...ughhhh
Also trigger warning for cancer and loss from death or other and also F*** cancer.
That was a good read, very emotional but with a great HEA!!!
