Ambivalence about this book is a trouble for me. I feel invested in Maisie and can understand more about her progress in life a
I fromfeelthat you make this very v difficult by removing the text of my review from my view so that I cannot put my thoughts on paper. Please review the format you provide. Although I am now very involved in the series, I will not try again to tell you why!

There really is a message...
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the narrator bring the characters to life. the accents, the pace of speech, the vocabulary... all of these things help to differentiate one from another. These differences certainly tie in with the message that Maisie brings to Georgina. The message that runs through the story in so many ways.
