About this listen

Midnight. Some call it the witching hour. Others call it the devil’s hour. Here in the graveyard, midnight is a very special time. It is a time when ghostly spirits are at their strongest, when the veil between our world and theirs is at its thinnest. Legend has it, that while most of the world is asleep, the lack of prayers allow the spirits to communicate under the cover of darkness, among the headstones, their whispers rustling in the leaves of the old oak trees. But if you’re here in the graveyard, you can tell yourself it’s just the wind, that the moonlight is playing tricks on your eyes, that it’s only the swirling mist you see. But when you hear the graveyard gate clang shut, the dead have something to say. Here are their stories …

for the spooky fan lover

Mostly good stories, some not so good, like the last story, it was just ridiculous to me. But if you like spooky stories in short form, this is definitely a book to get.

Not too bad.

Some winners and a few real stinkers. Thankfully the bad ones like Justin's Favourite are short and easy to get past.

Great stories

I am surprised how much I enjoyed this book. Just one or two stories didn’t work for me, but overall, this is such a good spooky anthology. If supernatural horror is your thing, I definitely recommend it.

oh no ghosts and they're going to tell some storie

they're really good horror anthology. and I got to say so many stores in here are really unnerving I listen to one on a walk and I did feel like something was watching me. and that was in the middle of the day so you know you're in for good time when that happens. and not all the ghost in the stories are horrible I want to do harm to people but the ones that do they'll give you a good fight

Gary Bennett and Ghosts!

Gary Bennett narrates an interesting and eclectic selection of ghost stories that run the gamut from frightening to funny to downright freaky. Solid stuff. Well worth a listen!

Some Great Stories Here!

The entire book is certainly worth a listen, although there are a few standouts and a few weaker entries as would be expected.

These stories have some eerie moments scattered throughout that will not soon leave my mind.

Beware. Take care .... PULL DA STRINK!
