About this listen
The complete series.
After slaying a leviathan of the deep, and gaining a magic he barely understands, an ordinary fisherman finds himself entangled in a magical game of the gods with the fate of his planet as the prize.
Dean becomes Oakley's champion, competing in the Minotaur's Maze. He travels through a portal to Mixonia, a city of wonders, filled with magic and monster girls of all sorts. As he levels up in his noble quest to save his home world, he will earn and lose fortunes, rescue a bevy of beautiful babes, and protect the innocents of planet Oakley.

Excellent story
Another excellent story, by Marcus Sloss, but again the ending felt very rushed. Absolutely wonderful reading by Daniel and Rebecca.

Marcus can sure write an epic.
overall from beginning to end. pretty good. I did like how he did try to be more character specific for certain chapters. as a couple people have pointed out though the ending does feel very rushed. so just a heads up for that. but overall another great story. and especially when you throw it together as the compendium versus individual books.
Daniel and Rebecca are hands down two of my most favorite voice actors. I have many in my library that these two have thrown their weight behind. in this one Rebecca seems to expand on her voice skills to be able to cover one or two new types that she normally doesn't range into. she did good. and Daniel's just daniel. he doesn't have the greatest range of character types but when he is speaking as a specific character you can always understand he's speaking as that character.

If 50 shades of grey met isaki
If you want your 50 shades of grey in a fantasy setting then this book is for you. Don’t expect the writing to be compelling because it’s not, it is written as if it were a DnD campaign where the players are horny and the DM just wants to describe the sex scenes with intense detail. When it’s time to get back into the main story suddenly it’s a slow crawl until the next intense cringe description of sex, and that’s is played on repeat. There are a few exiting moments but they are a few and far between. Basically it’s written porn.
