Publisher's Summary

The much-anticipated return of the hit Audible Original Mistletoe Murders series, featuring Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother) reprising her role as the captivating Emily Lane in Mistletoe Murders 3.

From Canadian Screen Award winner Ken Cuperus, with Ginny & Georgia’s Raymond Ablack, plus a stellar ensemble cast featuring Anna Cathcart (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars), Alex Mallari Jr (Ginny and Georgia) and Jean Yoon (Kim’s Convenience), this new season of the Audible Original will help you prepare for yet another cozy (and criminal) holiday season.

When Emily Lane isn’t busy running her charming Christmas-themed store, ‘’Under the Mistletoe,‘’ located in the quaint tourist town of Fletcher’s Grove, she finds herself compelled to investigate not so quaint local murders. On the surface, Emily is a perfectly lovely, good-natured puzzle-solver and mystery lover. But she is hiding a secret past that has finally begun to catch up with her, as an old acquaintance arrives to throw a wedge between Emily and Sam’s burgeoning relationship, and worse, threatens to destroy the new life Emily has built for herself.

The Mistletoe Murders Audible Original series inspired the Hallmark+ adaptation of the same name starring Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney.

Available in Dolby Atmos on Audible.

Editorial Review

Ken Cuperus has done it again!
Tis the season again at Fletcher’s Grove, and I couldn’t be more excited! Grace Barlow—now Emily Lane—has been instructed to maintain a low profile around her new town. Emily’s Christmas store, Under the Mistletoe, is thriving, and she’s even found a little romance with Sam, a handsome local police officer. Despite the instruction to maintain a low profile, Emily ends up on the front page of a newsletter for her heroism. When Obsidian Midnight picks up on signs of life from Emily, her safety is threatened—and she doesn’t even know it. The captivating narration from the cast led by Cobie Smulders and Raymond Ablack provides an internal cinema full of plot twists and a cliffhanger that left me ready for the next installment of this wonderful series. In the meantime, I’ll be watching the Hallmark movie adaptation that will be out on small screens October 31! — Disha M., Audible Editor

Different but still entertaining

I kind of miss the getting together part of the story but like the twist and turn of the overall arch. Mystery was still fun. Loved it for the third year. Looking forward to next one!

Great story wrap up with what sounds like more yet!

Thoroughly enjoyed this season and listened to the previous two before diving into the third. This continued to be a fun Christmas listen. Not sure I will watch the shows though.

Grittier, less cozy this year

I was obsessed with Season 1 and 2. Cozy, bit of romance, well-developed characters, mystery. This season (3) is darker, less believable writing, less of a cozy atmosphere. The terrorist piece with Emily seems gimmicky and too aggressive for this genre. Missing some of the original characters and feel of the previous stories. Outside of the music, which I love, this season really lacks a Christmas sensibility!

Missing the cozy Christmas

Loved season 1 & 2, the story this time was entertaining but it really was missing any holiday aspect. I loved the previous seasons descriptions of the town and characters this season was much more serious and less fun.

Still, I hope they bring it back for season 4!
