Using his knowledge of both herbs and the human heart, Cadfael deciphers a deadly recipe for murder....

Great story telling...

Ellis Peters stories of the sleuthing medieval monk are addictive. I only wish Stephen Thorne had narrated more of the series because for me he is the best of the Cadfael narrators.

Great story, great narrator

I agree, Stephen Thorne is the best narrator. Not the same without him....hesitate to buy one unless he is reading it.
