A cozy mystery with our beloved characters

In book two, we continue to see the growth and development of moons and runes, of the newly formed coven, and the private investigation firm as they take on a new case. With the same ambiance as the first book, we join the newly formed team of sleuths, that do well by playing to their strengths to solve a new mystery. We’re introduced to a new character, who will hopefully continue to make appearances in future stories.

While this book focused less on the larger story and character development, given the amount that was already provided in the first book, nothing felt lacking, and TBH I was already invested in the characters. Instead there seemed to be more of a focus on solving the case, working together, and developing as a team. Another enjoyable read overall!
