About this listen

Moving with my three best friends and our seven kids into a dilapidated brownstone in Boston may have seemed like the most insane thing I’d do this year. Apparently the universe said hold my beer.

Because last night I got drunk and married my boss.

Don’t worry, it’s all fake. Or at least everything after 'I Do' will be.

Beckett Langfield is grumpy, rich and hates kids. I’m an overworked, overstressed, and overweight single mom. The only reason we’re getting married is because he needs to fix a PR disaster and I am available. As in sitting next to him, in a bar, when he has this brilliant idea.

Considering I just got divorced, I’m not looking to do that again. But Beckett makes me an offer that I literally can’t refuse, so I don’t.

He’ll help fix up our broken house and all I have to do is take a few pictures and pretend we’re happily married.

Easy peasy.

Now if someone could just remind him that it’s all fake.

Authors Note: Mother Faker is book one of the Momcoms Series and features an accidental marriage between a billionaire grump and a plus size single mom who happens to work for him where there is only one bed, tons of laughs, a lot of ducks, and it's always been you vibes.

Joe Arden & Maxine Mitchell are 🔥

I love all of Brittanee Nicole's books since they all have humour infused with the story. Then you add in narration by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell and you have a hilariously fun audiobook with great emotions.

Awesome Book!

Not familiar with this author and I absolutely enjoyed this story from beginning to end, it has everything. It's nice to see a story where the female lead is not the typical rail thin, blonde, blue eyed character but a divorced, curvy, single mom that the rich gorgeous man falls in love with. The story was even more enjoyable with two of my favorite ppl narrating, there really isn't anything I can think of that I didn't like about this story.

So funny!

I listened this book as an ALC, narrated by Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell.
Beckett Langfield is Olivia's boss and he's secretely in love for years. After receiving a lot of bad press about him not loving children, his father tell him to change his image. He need to find a woman with Kids and marry her. So one night in Vegas Beckett take is chance and make a proposition to Liv...one she can't refuse : she accept to be his wife, help him and she'll receive money in exchange. Money who's gonna be use to do house's renovations. After all, she's now single and have 3 young Kids : Winnie, Finn and Addie. Of course the wedding must look real so Beckett move into the house unaware that in addition to his new family, he'll share his daily life with 7 roommates : Liz’s 3 best friends and their 4 children.
Everything is there for the perfect RomCom! I laugh all along! I really loved this book! The narration is perfection. Their Kids voice are so good. And if you like Growly Joe you won't be disapointed 🔥🔥🫠

Boss man and all the nicknames 🩷

This book was so ducking good!! 😉 So many fun characters. I love the friend group and how they’ve always been there for each other and when all their lives are falling apart they decide to be each other’s support system and move into a big falling apart brownstone together.
Boss man has always been secretly in love with Liv. But she got married and had babies and he admired from afar. He always demanded she be on his trips because he could only ever have her!! However when he ruins his girl trip weekend (the one that happens every nice a year) he invites her friends to come along to. After the trip Bossman - Beckett finds out from his brothers that Liv is now divorced and he can finally make his move because they all know he’s had a thing for her forever!! Well, it’s really the perfect plan, he has a PR nightmare and him marrying a woman with kids would solve it. She thinks he crazy but little does she know just how crazy he is for her and her kids!!!
This book is funny, heartwarming and brought some tears to my eyes too!! I loved all the nicknames for the people in this book!!! Can’t wait for the next one to be released!! 🥰

Great Start to series!

Full house vibes plus marriage of convience and laugh out loud moments. This book has it all! The banter and the sense of family were beautiful and made this a fast read! Beckett and Liv fed off each other, and their chemistry was great! Book 2, here I come! 🩷 Joe and Maxine's narration was just great as always!

Perfect fluff read with amazing spice

This was a really good pallet cleanser after listening to a fairly intense/angsty series. The story isn’t ground breaking but the narrators are incredible!
