À propos de cet audio

Monk's house is being fumigated, and he has nowhere to go. Fortunately, his assistant Natalie and her daughter are kind enough to welcome him into their home. Unfortunately, their home is not quite up to Monk's standards of cleanliness and order. But while Monk attempts to arrange his surroundings just so, something else needs to be put straight. The death of a dog at the local firehouse - on the same night as a fatal house fire - has led Monk into a puzzling mystery. And much to his horror, he's going to have to dig through a lot of dirt to find the answer.©2006 Universal Studios Licensing (P)2009 BBC Audio Confortable Enquête policière Fiction Fiction de genre Lien Suspense

Great book, ok narrator

I wish they got the actress to played Natalie to narrate this - it's not like she's done much since the show ended - tangent aside, the narrator was the low point of this book. The voices she did ruined the video my brain creates as the book goes along, throwing voices of the actual actors our of whack. Story itself was great.

Classic Monk - just more unhinged

Any Monk fan is going to enjoy this book. Classic Monk, Natalie in good form, good old Stottlemeyer, (very little Disher but he's still a lovable goof) - what's not to like? I will say that I did miss Traylor Howard (actress who played Natalie) a bit - but it did not take me long to let Laura Hicks' voice carry me through this adventure... or series of misadventures in Monk's view! A word of warning for television purists: Mr Monk comes off as far more neurotic on the page than he did on the screen. That being said, all I had to do was imagine Tony Shalhoub's charm and comedic brilliance and it was all good. 😊 I recommend it as a nice, light read and to anyone who loved Monk on TV. Enjoy more Monk shenanigans!
