It is 1848, and Francis Tucket is heading west on the Oregon Trail with his family. Yesterday he celebrated his 14th birthday on the tailgate of a Conestoga wagon in the foothills of the Rockies. Mom and 3 young kids listened to the 5 book series. They were all educational, captivating and written in a way that’s rich for adults and children. I’m sure my kids will read these when they’re older as well.
