Jessica attends a party at Vasquez's lavish home, but the celebration ends abruptly when guests witness Vasquez seemingly struck by lightning. Jessica and Seth do some digging into the physician's checkered past and learn that his death was no accident. As they work together to find a cure for the common killer, they begin to wonder if they'll ever see Cabot Cove again.

An adventure with Seth and Jessica

Although I enjoyed a story involving just Seth and Jessica, I will admit this wasn't my favorite book. It's in my library, but I don't know if I will revisit this one. The narration was amazing, as usual, but the plot did not keep my interest. I think, maybe, there were so many characters in this one that didn't really contribute much to the plot that they muddied the waters? But this is just my opinion - I look forward to reading the reviews of what other listeners thought of the storyline.
