About this listen
The USA Today best-selling series returns as Jessica discovers a real estate deal to die for....
Jessica's friend, Eve Simpson, is Cabot Cove's premier real estate agent and is currently trying to sell one of the town's oldest properties - the Spencer Percy House. Unfortunately, not only is the building in deplorable condition, it's also rumored to be haunted. Things only get worse when the home's elderly occupant dies under suspicious circumstances. Now as Jessica investigates, Eve hires a medium to rid the house of the alleged apparition. But if Jessica isn't careful, she may join the ranks of the dearly departed.

Not Bad, But Predictable
Well, I had this one mostly solved about half-way through. There was one little reveal at the end that made me go “Huh, I didn’t see that”, but I wish this story had been a bit less transparent with its “twists”. More spookiness may have been nice, as well.
That being said, the performance was very good, and I did enjoy having the story play while I worked around the house. It was a fun distraction while weeding in the garden on a sunny day!
