Amory Ames is a wealthy young woman who questions her marriage to her notoriously charming playboy husband Milo. Looking for a change, she accepts a request for help from her former fiance, Gil Trent. Unable to finish because of terrible narration

This story is rather light in character although the writing is not bad. However I was unable to get past the 5th chapter. I think with a better narrator I would have completed the book and have tackled at least one more in the series.
