About this listen
Murdered is the true story of the coldblooded killing of Sherri Rae Rasmussen, a 29 year old newlywed. Paul Christy's thrilling performance leaves the listener at the edge of his seat. Christy's voice reflects the journalistic and no-nonsense quality of Alexander's words. The narrative is detailed and thorough, without giving too much away too soon. The descriptions of the crime and the 20-year cover-up that followed are told in the manner of a police procedure report and are sure to hold the listener's full attention. For those who enjoy true crime narratives, this is a story worth listening to and one not easy to forget.

Exemplary "Big Blue Wall" Case
Paul Alexander lays out a Crime-Reporter-styled documentary about a murder by an LAPD Officer left uninvestigated by fellow officers for 20 years. The research is meticulous, the writing is more than capable, and the story structure (chronological with well-integrated biographical interludes) is impressive.
Less fortunately, the performance from Paul Christy is "average". Yes, his diction, timbre, and cadence are creditable - backed up by commendable technical support from Audible Studios sound engineers - but his tone is distinctly flat & robotic. The Producers could have gotten equally effective narration from any professional reader.
Altogether, 'Murdered' is a fascinating look at Police cover-up efforts in a maddeningly solvable case. I rate it 8 stars out of 10 - easily worth your time as a 'Plus' option. Even should they ask for a Credit, you wouldn't be crazy to spend it.

Truly Sad
Such a sad story of a woman losing her life. How incomplete the investigation was of her murder. It showed how much has changed throughout the years when it comes to in investigating such horrendous crimes. Glad the family now has closure.

Short but sweet
The fact that this crime was covered up by police is absolutely disgusting. I feel so bad for the family. And I can't believe he actually dated the murderer after she killed his wife. Unbelievable!! It was a good book. Very short, but good.
