About this listen
Humanity is not extinct.
It's the calm before the storm and the complacent survivors are ill prepared as the sleeping world is about to get a wake up call.
Nowhere is safe. Nowhere will ever be.

Robot man.
I enjoyed the story as a short breather between longer books. I just about couldn’t listen to the narrator say Lev’s lines as she made him sound like a robot.

Series extradonaire
The story line is exactly what I hoped, people still alive but don’t get complacent. While the narrators voice is a bit better especially with Nila she still made Lev sound terrible. Nila was the only voice with emotion. The story though was good. Will finish book 4.

Meh book 1 was the best, I just don’t know…
Book 1 best & loved that narrator. Two I tolerated with new narrator. But Three with the narrator in the books now , she just makes every male that speaks sound like they’re slow…….to…….talk. And it’s hard to tell who’s talking at times becusse there’s no voice change and it’s just fast talking then slow…..talking so you have to think about who is talking. I’ve fast forwarded parts because the story and characters interest me but I doubt I’ll listen to the final book 4 if same narrator.
Decent story though. But all the rehashing at beginning of every book is unnecessary. People can go read the previous books for that. It’s clear it’s a series and books are numbered. Too bad, decent story, alittle off & frustrating in parts, but the narrator and the stupidity of this supposed to be smart main character throws me too.
