Publisher's Summary
Alexander Toth was an American cartoonist, born June 25, 1928, in New York, New York. He was known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera, as well as a long list of work for DC Comics, Dell Comics, Golden Key Comics, Marvel Comics, Standard Comics, and Warren Publishing. He was inducted into the comic book industry's Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1990. He passed away May 27, 2006, in Burbank, California at his drawing table. He was survived by his four children and seven grandchildren. My Father, My Faith shares the compelling story of the last year of his life and his relationship with his oldest daughter, Dana.
While he'd received critical acclaim all his life for his work and incredible talent, the one thing he'd yet to achieve was the one thing he had no idea how to create - family.
Together, they spent the last year of his life navigating a broken medical system and learning to love and forgive one another. Listeners who already know of his work will learn about another side of him; listeners who might not know of him will be introduced to him and his work through this true story of faith, advocacy, and love's ability to heal.
