Publisher's Summary
“[A] must-read thriller...My Husband’s Wife has an ending that will change the way you view marriage forever.” (Bustle)
“If you loved Gone Girl and The Talented Mr. Ripley, you’ll love My Husband’s Wife. It’s got every thriller’s trifecta: love, marriage, and murder.” (Parade)
“The novel’s plot is as provocative as its title.” (The Washington Post)
From the best-selling author of The Dead Ex, a deliciously addictive psychological thriller about the powerful effects of little white lies on three intertwined lives - and when those secrets become deadly.
When young lawyer Lily marries Ed, she’s determined to make a fresh start and leave the secrets of the past behind. But then she takes on her first murder case and meets Joe, a convicted murderer to whom Lily is strangely drawn - and for whom she will soon be willing to risk almost anything. But Lily is not the only one with secrets. Her next-door neighbor Carla may be only nine, but she has already learned that secrets are powerful things. That they can get her whatever she wants. When Lily finds Carla on her doorstep 12 years later, a chain of events is set in motion that can end only one way.
What the critics say
"Full of twists and turns, [My Husband's Wife] draws you into its complicated world within the first chapter, and it doesn't let you go until you've turned the final page. Corry's talented storytelling and brilliant writing make even the most seemingly obvious aspects of the novel appear in surprising ways. A must-read book for fans of the kind of psychological thrillers that have been all the rage.” (Bustle)
"[My Husband's Wife] nicely fits into the psychological suspense genre that’s riding a slipstream of popularity, thanks to the success of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train.... Addictive...[a] seemingly unending trove of delicious disasters and deceits.” (Washington Post)
“If you loved Gone Girl and The Talented Mr. Ripley, you’ll love My Husband's Wife by Jane Corry. It’s got every thriller’s trifecta: love, marriage and murder.” (Parade)

Book: My Husband's Wife
Author: Jane Corry
Rating: 3 stars 🌟🌟🌟
This one was an alright read!
The overall concept, twists & turns, and the shock value were great.
But unfortunately I found it to be a bit too predictable, a bit too out there, and a little slow for me.
I had a hard time grasping on to the revenge plot and I never really felt a connection between the two main characters.
You get:
• Suspense/Thriller
• Domestic Drama
• Infidelity
• Revenge
• Obsession
• Stalker
• Murder
If you like complicated thrillers, this one may be for you! Unfortunately it fell flat for me! Available on ebook, hardcover, paperback, and audiobook.

Pretty Predictable
Not a lot of suspense and it was pretty predictable, but still enjoyed the story. #Audible1

First audio book in a long time
I am new to audio books a d it took a bit of time toadjust to it. There were times I felt it dragged but I am a fast reader so it might have been different t had I read it. I didn''t find it to be the big "twist" ending I read about but it had moments it really held my attention.

Very slow book
Found it hard to keep interested. Not sure if it was because of the narrator or if it was just a dry book.

Predictable
I realized a little over halfway through this book it was predictable but I kept listening hoping I was wrong. Could pretty much predict the story from the first few chapters. All the characters are so insufferable with no redeeming qualities I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. There's no suspense to this book and I finished it so I could leave this review. Very disappointed.

Thumbs down
Had to force myself to get through this. Bad narrative too. Boring and dry. I should have read the reviews first.

Struggle to get through
I hated every single character in this book. It really was a struggle to get through it. The narration was ok though the male voice was brutal.
