Good story but needed a qualified Editor

The story starts out great, new ideas, great character development. Then the story becomes riddled with inconsistencies and ends up being a mess.
*Spoiler*
The end of the book feels rushed and incomplete, after some research I found that a couple pages were not published so the story goes from being in the medical room to post coitus in bed. A "panel" opens in the wall from a secret passage? Since when? and then "The End."
So many incomplete story threads and it really took a decent story to very disappointing.
