About this listen
There are three things you should know about Quinn Sullivan:
1) He is madly in love with Janie Morris
2) He's not above playing dirty to get what (or who) he wants
3) He doesn't know how to knit.
After just five months of dating Janie, Quinn - former Wendell and unapologetic autocrat - is ready to propose marriage. In fact he's more than ready. If it were up to Quinn, he would efficiently propose, marry, and beget Janie with child all in the same day - thereby avoiding the drama and angst that accompanies the four stages of prematrimony: engagement; meeting the parents; bachelor/bachelorette party; and overblown, superfluous wedding day traditions. But Janie, much to Quinn's dismay, tosses a wrench in his efficacious endeavors and challenges him to prove his devotion by going through the matrimonial motions, no matter how minute and mundane.
Will Quinn last until the wedding day? Or will he yield to his tyrant impulses?
Regardless, one thing is for certain: Quinn Sullivan will have to learn to expect the Spanish Inquisition (i.e., the unexpected) if he plans to have and keep Janie Morris as his wife.
You must listen to Neanderthal Seeks Human first before listening to this book.
This book is written in first person with alternating POVs (Janie Morris and Quinn Sullivan, but more Janie than Quinn).

I love this
The charaters are great, I loved how silly the main charater is but I also love how her husband loves her and listens to her. I wanted more of these charaters. They have more to tell. I want to know what else they are up to.

Well put together story, full of sarcastic witt
between this one and the immediate predecessor, the story of Jainey and Quinn comes together with a heartwarming happily for now ending and made me feel warm and fuzzy at several points. While the narrative flowed well the Narrator was easy to listen to and was easily understandable. well done overall

Fun playful series
This series is quirky and fun with a lot of romance and a dash of spice. Following the friends and seeing the eave of the stories throughout the series is interesting and helps you bond with the characters.
My only challenge is that these books, like most, are read in US English, which has me correcting the narrators regularly.

OMG Even Funnier Than Book 1
If you enjoyed Janie in Book 1, you'll love this second part of the story. I especially appreciated that we got some of Quinn's POV in this one!

Another Home Run
Another great book. I just love Jennifer Grace’s narration. While I could have done without Sebastian York (who I have enjoyed in other books) he was still good. I think my issue with it is that the first book in the series was done by Jennifer alone. When I first started this book I thought it was going to be solely from Quinn’s point of view hence the second narrator but it isn’t it goes back and forth.
The story itself was still fantastic and I listened to the book over just a couple of days I was so in to it I didn’t want to put it down. It was laugh out loud funny in so many parts.
If you’re a lover of Rom Com / Chick Lit this book is a winner. Looking forward to continuing on through this series with the stories of the other ladies in the knitting group.

Nah….
I hate to be too critical of people but the female narrator was difficult to listen it. It made an already dull story much duller ..
loved Penny Reid’s Winston brother series but this one didn’t cut it at all

Fluff
I found this to be lacking any type of story line. And the voice used to portray the feminine lead I found to totally grate on my nerves.
