About this listen
Ever since I discovered I’m not human, I’ve always believed wolf shifters are monsters, me included. Except the alpha and mayor of Blackwood Creek isn’t a monster at all. He’s my fake fiancé for my own protection.
As the prime suspect in a murder investigation, I’ve got no choice but to take sanctuary with Ridge until I can clear my name. But my presence in town means the entire pack in Blackwood Creek are in danger from the hunters who are after me.
Not even Ridge’s strong protective instincts can save me—or the town—if I don’t leave soon. And if I stay much longer, my heart will be at risk of believing that shifters can be trusted and that my fake fiancé is the real thing…

Kept me wincing
The story is like a chipped disc, tripping over itself with inconsistent characters and abilities,
Want to know how its 20 hr? Cause "She was just so strong, beautiful and independent. My wolf wanted her, my strong beautiful independent little wolf. She was just so strong, independent and beautiful that my every thought was of her beautiful face, independent against the setting sun but strong with the days last rays. My little strong, wolf couldn't speak cause she saw her 20th dead body, someone she didn't really know but was independent enough to dislike, cause she so strong, my little wolf."
Also author, a known troublesome drunk is harassing a girl in a small town bar... The lover charging in and thrusting him away, would not be "something only shifters would understand".
