What a voice, what a talent!
Kevin Barry, you've written one heck of a great read--but I'm listening to it instead, and lucky me, lucky listener, you have a the voice and intonation, the vocal skill of an actor, and that you are reading your own characters probably makes it that much more lively. This is a top-notch book by a writer to remember. These two nasty but fascinating men are brought to life by the author's wonderful characterization--in writing and in his voice.
