About this listen
When a body is discovered in a locked toilet cubicle on the late-night train to Bath, Ishmael Jones is faced with his most puzzling case to date.
When Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny are asked to escort a VIP on the late-night train to Bath, it would appear to be a routine case. The Organisation has acquired intelligence that an attempt is to be made on Sir Dennis Gregson’s life as he travels to Bath to take up his new position as Head of the British Psychic Weapons Division. Ishmael’s mission is to ensure that Sir Dennis arrives safely.
How could anyone orchestrate a murder in a crowded railway carriage without being noticed and with no obvious means of escape? When a body is discovered in a locked toilet cubicle, Ishmael Jones has just 56 minutes to solve a seemingly impossible crime before the train reaches its destination.
Performed by Scott McCormick, Laura C Harris, Shanta Parasuraman, David Coyne, Stephon Walker, Steven Carpenter, Bill Gillett, Steve Wannall, Nanette Savard, Matthew Pauli, Richard Rohan and Alejandro Ruiz.

A worthy installment in the series.
I'm starting to appreciate the effort Graphic Audio puts into these productions. I've also grown to like this series as I've come to better understand the main characters.

Books are going downhill
I was so impressed by the 1st three books but then I read book 4 and it was just okay. Book 5 was disappointing, but 7 annoyed me because all the things said in the 1st few books about his strength etc, were dimmed in order to expose the “other” him, now we have book 8 and I think the author was asleep or distracted writing this book because I immediately knew who the killer was I found the book mediocre and didn’t like how his abilities were all of a sudden downplayed and all the bravado from past books were severely dimmed in his efforts to be human. Before he could just listen in to things, now he has to pay attention and focus, before he had super alien strength stronger than anything, now a mere werewolf is stronger, before he’s able to anticipate things and moves and be sneaky, now everything is about getting Penny safe and being slow.
I still don’t like Penny, I find her character whiny and not helpful (no matter how much the author tries to make her look it).
